Welcome to The Social Health Site at massclout.net

For the last few weeks, we've been working hard to develop this small but in-depth web site on everything social related to the health paradigm. Universal health insurance, President Obama's hard work in the sphere and some other very important topics all of us liberals feel strongly about.

I'm a young girl, but I have strong opinions - so please don't get angry, just... take it in!

Social Health Care

Social Health Care - Free Health Care Providers in the US

A recent poll conducted among the US citizens revealed that a good share of the participants (who were chosen randomly), did not have any notion about social health care systems. This paradigm is alternatively termed as socialized medicine. What exactly is social health care? How is it beneficial to the citizens of this country? Lastly, what is the role played by the government in ensuring the enforcement of socialized medicine? In the remaining sections, I will be providing you with nominal illustrations of the domain.

Social health care is all about free health care for the citizens of this nation. In short, the government will take the responsibility of all the citizens by distributing medical aids freely. The Wikipedia provides a much more refined for social health care; a term which was initially coined by the representatives of the American Medical Association back in 1947 - it is nothing but publicly funded health care. Ever since its inception, the term has given sleepless nights to many presidents - the latest being Obama himself, who came under a lot of pressure last year thanks to so-called innovative health reform program!

We will be looking into the details of the health reform program put forward by the president in a separate section. However, for now, we will concentrate on the effectivity of the social health care paradigm compared to the private one with their pricey health insurance quotes. Many have come forward to oppose it because they feel their tax money must be used for productive purposes. A small share fear that the rest might try to cheat the system and obtain access to health care without paying a dime from their pockets. Are you even aware of the organizations that deal with socialized medicine such as the Indian Health Service, the Veterans Health Administration and Military Health Care System?

I am certain that many readers might know about Medicaid and Medicare reforms that are already prevalent in this country. Fret not because they happen to fall into the category of socialized medicine, likewise. In order to be eligible for these, the citizens will have to pay up trivial premium amounts every year. Widespread discrimination always used to exist during the earlier decades and people who fell into specific categories (like the native Indians) could not afford expensive medical plans. Something that started out as a practice to safeguard the interest of these categories gradually emerged to all the other sectors - and now every citizen in this country has access to one or other form of a social health care platform!

Much rivalry already exists in between those who support socialized and private health care systems, and as Jen from healthcareresourceguide.com puts it, "Both sides are wrong, as usual". We have to weigh the advantages of one niche against the other. While doing so, we will realize that social health care would win any day because it considers the interests of a wider audience. Those who cannot afford health care solutions such as life insurance packages need not have to die in the streets - all thanks to social health care!
